novelty. a glimpse of sun behind black clouds in stormy weather.
the fear of going home. i don't want to go back to this. not into a room full of people. still alone. no place for me. there is no place for me here.

there's a reason why i don't do free work or pitches.
1. work gets bastardised beyond recognition you dont even believe a designer worked on it anyway (which means a total waste of time)
2. they'll try to squirm their way into more free work
3. realise there is free lunch in this world which is bad for the industry, and eventually myself.

there's a chinese saying that goes 'gan ai gan hen' which literally means dare to love, dare to hate. i've always stood by that saying just because life's too short to waste it on useless people you dont care about.
